Abuse requires an imbalance of power & control, so 'mutual abuse' rarely happens.
Being abused long-term distorts the survivor's behavior so they make look 'crazy' & 'bad', but it's the effects of the abuser.
How the survivor acted while being abused is not their real self.
Because there was not a policy in place, I know what it is to be suddenly unemployed and imminently homeless (#manselife) with an infant.
I know what it is to pack up the nursery that had only come together a few weeks before. (4/?)
