“I didn’t know until I was a patient myself that people who have had cancer are protected under the #EqualityAct - patients are still losing their jobs because they don’t know their rights,” says @Liz_ORiordan at the #MarsdenLecture
“And then I became a patient. I didn’t need to wait to hear detailed results. In that instant I knew: I’d need chemo. I’d need a mastectomy. I had every single treatment I had always given my patients and yet I didn’t know what it would be like.” Dr Liz O’Riordan #MarsdenLecture
