Today, 7 August 2019, the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) made a remarkable arrest after eight suspects were caught via CCTV stealing diesel directly from buses at the Wemmer Metrobus depot.

The 8 arrested criminals last night are Security Officers belonging to Service Provider and 5 are Basotho Nationals. We have also arrested the Kingpin and his partner in Katlehong earlier this morning @CityofJoburgZA @CoJTransport @JoburgMPD
Last night, 8 male suspects were seen inside the premises of the Metro Bus Depot Centre. They were caught on CCTV. The complainant mentioned that the suspects were seen on Camera Stealing Diesel from the buses inside the Depot.

We sent our Health & Environmental workers to a restaurant & they found multiple transgressions.
The fridges don't work, the food is uncovered, bottles have been refilled with foreign beverages and there a huge gas cylinders waiting to explode.
