The Mighty Mastodon… I was so stoked when @thejavan announced #MastoDiscogs.
One of my favorite bands of all time, a great excuse to dive back into their catalog, reaccess where these albums fall for me & discover new things to love about a band that has given me so much life.
@thejavan Starting with Remission, an album that honestly I’ve listened to but not with as much intent as I did week 1.
Of the #MastoDiscogs I found this album the most rewarding in terms what I thought VS how I feel now.

Really thought hard over ordering of that third tier. I may be an outlier with H+G topping that.
Remission vs CTS is a tight one for me too. Former has really grown on me through the discog.

Belated thoughts on Crack the Skye! #MastoDiscogs
After what came before, Crack the Skye really didn’t land with me right away - I was pretty underwhelmed by the proggier approach and the lack of really crushingly heavy riff-fests and it washed over me a bit.
