@theo_verweij And a read of the article shows that #VB sits.swuarely on top.of C#. I believe that the ranking would be even much better if one took into account the entrance.of #mecuryvb, #radbasic and the Anywhere software's #B4X family, not excluding VBA & others.

Just took a minute to look at RemobjectsTV demo how to convert an existing https://t.co/lAtaaf9d48 project to elements and use with Mecury. Looks smooth and painless. Still have to see how this will work with really large projects. Great progress! #mecuryvb #vbnet #visualbasic

Finally got a break to read through some of the Mecury VB documentation on elementsdocs. Looks like a pretty solid implementation of #vb.net. also.stumbled.on a few videos.on you tube about using #mecuryvb in the #fire IDE to create mobile applications. I would like to see some

@jdan Lots of.people.working exclusively in #basic. #mecuryvb #radbssic #qb64 #vb.net #vb6 #b4x are jusyvsome of the many flavors and modern variants of BASIC that are used for everything from Desktop, Web and Mobile applications.

@BobArky @theo_verweij @radbasic @msdevUK @VisualStudio @WindowsUK No more features for VB? Microsoft did say that: they would not evolve VB anymore. You also now have new VB Compilers that evolve such as #mecuryvb from #remobjects. You can also look at #radbasic, another implementation of VB 6.

@prosetech This story keeps being repeated again and again. The problem however is that #visualbasic is going nowhere...@Microsoft is.not very good at killing products. Look at how many #visualbasics have popped up! Look at the community response #mecuryvb #b4x #radbasic

@ch9 I would have looked but since it will.say nothing about #visualbasic then I better stick with my Basic4Adroid and RFO Basic heresies. I hope #mecuryvb will remedy that situation for #visualbasic developers.
