Few additional thoughts on #METRing
-I certainly enjoyed it and am glad to have traveled to NYC to see it
-MET is overrated, I knew productions are uninteresting, but musically this was not leading opera house performance quality
-MET needs a massive artistic shakeup

@HeldenMommy was for me probably the biggest surprise of the whole #METRing. Yes, there are still some things to develop in the role (esp. highs) but overall this was one of the most beautifully sung Brunnhildes I’ve heard. Can’t wait to see how role develops (@WagnerFestival )

Maybe it’s my soft spot for Siegfried, but for me this was musically the best part of #METRing so far. Fantastic singing overall and I even enjoyed Jordan at the end. Loved #METSiegfried @MetOpera

#METRing seems to be getting better by each part. Singing was overall incredible and Jordan seems to be way more comfortable with late Wagner, what a difference Act 3 made. Musically for me overall the best part of the Ring #METSiegfried @MetOpera

Overall a huge improvement to #METRheingold due to much cleaner and less silly production and truly remarkable performances by Volle, Barton, Westbroek, Skeleton and Goerke #METWalküre #METRing
