The bottom line is that Metro is subsidizing #MetroMicro to the tune of $30-60+ PER RIDE (#really!) MicroTransit just can't compete with real shared rides: the less efficient fixed route transit service costs Metro $7-8 per ride.
Metro appears proud that "Metro Micro has kept fares to $1" when Metro is charging bus riders $1.75. Please Metro board - please at least bring fare parity between premium #MetroMicro on-demand service and fixed-route bus service. Please charge bus riders just $1 - same as Micro
