Top Tweets for #MildDecember

We’re looking at another stratospheric wave reflection event around mid month. These events typically lead to a Pacific ridge / Atlantic trough combination, i.e unsettled and mild for the UK and can last 2-3 weeks. That could take us to January before any cold potential begins to arise. Falling AAM however may pull the broader pattern west so I do have some hope that we’ll see something less unsettled during the second half of December, but COLD AND SNOW LIKELIHOODS REMAIN VERY LOW. The next MJO cycle is coming into view which may bring some potential mid-late January but very early days.
