Our #MobilityCorral, supports a variety of micromobility types including shared e-scooter or cycle schemes, standard cycles, family bikes, and cargo bikes.
The trials with @dott_uk @limebike and @tierscooters are said to feature designated parking areas.
Spot our new #MobilityCorral in two interesting forms. On the left, a parklet space, on the right, cycle parking!

@willnorman @EalingCouncil @TfL Even better @willnorman, would be to quickly and meaningfully reallocate road space away from cars to support #activetravel parking. Declutter our pavements and pop 12 cycle parking spaces in the place of one car π

@safemyth @tulenheimo @MetCycleCops Hi Rafe, Interesting to hear your view. As you can see from this angle, the #MobilityCorral planters won't obscure thieves much. Planters are an optional addition and ideally, we would love to see Councils planting trees directly into the soil - that's the dream!
If you're in South London and would like to see a real-life #MobilityCorral, pop over to Browning Street! Recently pedestrianised to aid a vibrant and healthy community. #ActiveTravel #HealthyStreets Great stuff @lb_southwark ππ
...and a first look at what it looks like finished on Browning St with nicely designed planting, seating and new cycle parking. Well done @cyclehoop and @lb_southwark
How are they secured in place? A #MobilityCorral is fixed cleanly into the ground using threaded ground anchors, secured with permanent, tamper-resistant shear nuts. Have you seen our #CarBikePorts? We use the same secure method for this iconic racking system.
Itβs been amazing to receive so many positive and curious comments from everyone about our new #MobilityCorral. Keep them coming and keep campaigning your councils for #cycleparking π
Weβll get there πͺ #ActiveTravel
In case youβre curious to see just how easily our all-new #MobilityCorral is assembled and installed. A pic of our rainy day installs for @newwestendcompany! It takes just one hour to provide 12 spaces π€―

Mik enquired about the #MobilityCorral. Whether it can be flipped around to allow roadside access for #allabilities. We were happy to respond with a big YES. Also, we can provide #accessibility ramps in high traffic areas where having the unit roadside open, is not an option π
@cyclehoop @landor_links @ActTravelWise Superstars. This kind of solution will really open up cycling to so many & prevent the abuses my original tweet highlighted. I'll show our council in Camden. π
Thanks to the flat-pack, fully integrated design the need for groundworks has been completely removed. Making it easier to transport, install or relocate than traditional methods, saving significant resources and time.

@MikScarlet @landor_links @ActTravelWise Hi Mik, Glad you spotted that and good to receive your feedback. It does flip around π the #MobilityCorral has retractable legs so it can even stylishly mount the curb. In low traffic or pedestrianised areas it can be flipped to provide road access p1/2
It is the first product of its kind with the flexibility to support a mix of micromobility types, from cycles, e-scooters to cargo bikes or family cycles.
