@dianna_appel Hi Dianna, I would say that learning is more effective when it adheres to the modality principle in Asynchronous environments. In Math, Khan academy adheres to this principle while using a variety of graphics to deliver content. #edt501 #ModalityPrinciple #KhanAcademy

I prefer learning that adheres to the Modality Principle in an asynchronous environment. Listening to audio and just focusing on my visual channel helps me better comprehend content. Interested to hear what others think of this principle. #edt501 #ModalityPrinciple

I often deliberately choose to watch a movie with subtitles on (and I mean english subtitles for a film in english), even though it seems to be a violation of the #modalityprinciple. Anybody else do this? #edt501
