#MomentsofSadness in #Glasgow: While lovely to be back in the @The_Lighthouse yesterday, it was sad to see Javier Mariscal’s witty leaf-like signage, which ran up through the atrium like a tree, so was a play on Mackintosh’s ‘Tree of Life’ symbolism, has been removed…🤷‍♂️😢! 1/2

#MomentsofSadness in #Glasgow: this is the ‘B’ listed Bloomfield Cottage of circa 1852 at the corner of Great George and Bank Streets in Hillhead. It has been on the Buildings at Risk Register since 2012 but has slid into decline with the roof recently further collapsing…☹️😢!

#MomentsofSadness in #Glasgow: Sorry to see the demolition of Graphical House. I’ve always liked this 1961-5 Brutalist building by architects Rogerson & Spence, best known as the location of the Riverside Club, with its legendary ceilidh and club nights, which closed in 2007…😢!
