@padspoker Remember when your direct competitors raised the rake overnight without any warning or announcement, and it was an absolute scandal that triggered a high-stakes community boycott? And now? The exact same model is being used. Ironic, isn’t it? #morerakeisbetter

@BobMatherPoker @WSOP Also in 2025 at wsop First time an event had no bracelet winner. Most rake collected of any series anywhere of all time. #moreRakeisBetter

@BobMatherPoker @WSOP As someone who has been prosecuted for a variety of white collar crimes. I'll bet $20 it's going nowhere near a criminal prosecution. Nevada prefers to focus on unpaid markers. Because the District Attorney Office gets 10% of funds recovered. #MoreRakeIsBetter

@ChadAHolloway I understand why Phil feels that way. He specifically picks and chooses highest EV and mostly dgaf about value. Historically (at least by my memory) POY has always rewarded volume. Also, why would WSOP want to dissuade players from firing heaps of tournies? #morerakeisbetter

Two players get 4 bets in (bet raise 3bet shove call), in a single raised 6 way PLO pot on 765r Raiser/Shover: “What kinda redraws you workin with?” Bettor/3bettor/Caller: “What- you have a straight?” Shover: “……Of course” Caller: “…..😞” #NYCUNDERGROUND #MoreRakeIsBetter

@pokerfuse @pokerprojones There was a boycott on Merge when they pulled rewards. 90% of regs quit. I know the guy VERY WELL who reaped most of the fruit #morerakeisbetter

NYC PLO Games got some of the brightest minds in existence. A player bet calls off AA w nfd 3 ways on the turn after it goes call and shove … and then the analysis ensues! #MoreRakeIsBetter

Must be nice when the @wsop actively colludes to give you preferential treatment. My buddy was dealing the wsop in 2018 and after they realized @RealKidPoker wasn't going to show up they racked up his chips and gave him a refund. #MoreRakeIsBetter

Not sure the team @LodgePokerClub thought it through when they asked @DougPolkVids to write a tweet about female bodies to get people thinking about something other than the 680+120 with skipped levels that's going on right now #morerakeisbetter #clownshow 🤡
