The Repole Stable family and I are extremely overwhelmed by the tremendous love and global support that everyone has shown to Uncle Mo. We are eternally grateful to everyone for all the tributes, social media messages, calls, texts and emails that we have seen or have received. I can never thank you enough. The emotional sadness I have hasn’t lessened, but seeing and hearing about how much Uncle Mo impacted so many people as both a brilliant racehorse and a brilliant stallion is comforting. Suffering unleashes love. In the past 24 hours, I’ve seen a global industry unite and share, in grief, their unanimous love for Uncle Mo. His legacy will live on through his progeny. His speed, brilliance and pedigree will make him one of the most influential sires in Thoroughbred History. I am now aware that Uncle Mo’s impact on the sport, both on the track and in breeding, will be forever lasting. I’ve attached a short video taken right before this year’s Kentucky Derby.
