The thru-route 14/61 is one of the most well used Routes outside of corridor routes. There are a lot of comments to be made about why discontinuing these routes and breaking it up so much is a poor idea.

Route 14 will be replaced by new Route 24. It will follow the same route, but end at SMU, no service to Spring Garden/Scotia Square & no through-route to Dartmouth/Portland Hills. According to the MFTP, frequency may also be reduced, but who knows...

@TimOuthit How long should we wait to provide better transit to a rapidly growing area that's been asking for it? We could extend the 91 back to Scotia Square and increase frequency, or make the 90 a corridor, or even just add more routes. We can't delay any more... #moveforwardwithoutme
HRM's growth has been a big topic lately, especially for Bedford. Considering the constant overcrowding of the 90, the cut 81 Hemlock Ravine and reduced frequency on the 8, we want to ask if Bedford needs more transit options? @TimOuthit #moveforwardwithoutme

How many of you are aware that changes will be coming soon to Penhorn/Portland Hills routes? And how many know what these changes are?

Do you follow #TalkTransit? A while back, of all those that responded to Talk Transit, less than 20% were familiar with the MFTPlan. Many people also noted the need to give more notice about changes.

Well over a year, and Highfield is still the only place these can be found. We desperately need more of these across HRM. Cobequid? Penhorn? Marketplace Ave.? Bayers Road? Mumford Terminal? All would benefit well! Voice up and maybe we'll see more! #moveforwardwithoutme

I met up with a friend in Burnside once... That was until I genuinely got so frustrated I told them to meet me at Mic Mac. Transit is impossible around the area, and "improvements" aren't scheduled until 2021-2022... #moveforwardwithoutme
Transit prices isn't the problem with HFXtransit. When people wouldn't take your service if it was free, there are even bigger problems you should be considering... #moveforwardwithoutme

One of our goals of #MoveForwardWithoutMe is to increase the overall conversation around the MFT Plan. A Talk Transit Survey indicated that awareness of the MFT Plan was pretty low. We're hoping, the voices heard since the Lacewood and now Sackville changes will change this!

Scotia Square is a pedestrian death trap. It's clear that the terminal suffers from overcrowding, and riders themselves suffer as a result. How will we address this issue before we add even more new routes, (5 and 150/160's) later this year? #moveforwardwithoutme
We need better communication, or even acknowledgement on the issues the MFT Plan has brought forth, before we continue moving to new communities implementing a plan that isn't fully working in practice. #moveforwardwithoutme @newsbag @PaulRussellCPC @TimOuthit
The Peak 82 serviced a handful of people that the new 93 does not. All though the new 93 has improved commuting for a handful, the lack of a proper replacement for the Peak 82/proper transferring shows negligence on the planners of the MFT Plan. #moveforwardwithoutme
The joys of @hfxtransit #MovingForward! The number 4 leaves cunard & windsor when the 5 is in view. I now need to wait 10-15 minutes for another 4 or 90. BEFORE the 82 took me right home. I HATE trying to get home from Purdy’s now. Line up the bus routes please. #rain #migraine
This was a discussion we had when talking about the 180's. It's clear that articulated buses are needed on these routes, yet due to a lack of artic availability, many are left behind. We can't ignore these issues and need to start providing proper solutions. #moveforwardwithoutme
Once again @hfxtransit please send larger buses to the Sackville terminal in the morning. There were at least 50 of us in line this morning. Less than half got on first bus to arrive. Standing on a highway is a safety issue. @HfxVig

Many people have brought forth this safety concern ever since the 52 was cut, and we're still waiting for any response from any issue the Lacewood changes brought forth. Let's stop moving more communities backwards, and address the problems we've created. #moveforwardwithoutme
Yet another issue brought up in advance of the Nov 25 changes... I understand the 89 had low ridership off-peak, but there was certainly many riders on-peak that relied on the route that now have no options. (transferring to the 90/91 isn't viable!) #moveforwardwithoutme
The 180 express routes are supposed to replace the LINK however they only run during peak hours so if you're travelling off peak you take the 84 (a 40-45 minute route) or the 8 (an hour and 10 minute route) opposed to the old link which was a 24 minute route #MoveForwardWithoutMe
@hfxtransit your new system to get to Sackville is terrible. If I can't get the 6:25, which a lot of people can't, it goes from a 20-25 minute trip to almost an hour!! The link should run like it used to.
