Dit is overigens dezelfde minister die bijzonder weinig deed voor Joodse studenten en medewerkers die in de knel kwamen na de eindeloze palestinisering van de Universiteit Maastricht, waar zij eerder bestuurder was. Het verbaast mij dan ook totaal niet dat zij liever enthousiast aanschuift bij organisaties die pseudoslachtofferschap tot politiek instrument hebben verheven, dan dat zij iets doet aan het antisemitisme dat de academische wereld, mede dankzij diezelfde organisaties, overspoelt. De Instagrampost van Letschert laat bovendien mooi zien hoe het vocabulaire van de ‘softe’ jihad zich voortdurend ontwikkelt. Eerst ging het over islamofobie en moslimhaat, vervolgens over discriminatie en racisme, maar inmiddels bewegen we richting de eis om “je thuis te voelen”. Een volledig subjectief begrip dat de basis vormt voor wéér nieuwe eisen en wéér verdere aanpassingen van ons onderwijs. In de interactie tussen Letschert en de MSA zien we het mechanisme van circulair cliëntelisme in volle glorie terug. Islamitische dawa-activistische organisaties produceren eindeloze claims over achterstelling en ongelijkheid. Progressieve bestuurders benutten deze claims voor de gebruikelijke fotomomentjes en gaan mee in de gestelde eisen. Vervolgens begint hetzelfde riedeltje opnieuw. Dezelfde organisaties blijven slachtofferschap cultiveren, stellen weer nieuwe eisen en progressieve bestuurders kunnen vervolgens weer vinkjes zetten bij hun ideologische opvattingen over diversiteit, gelijkheid en inclusie. De studenten van de MSA zijn natuurlijk totaal niet bezig met het emanciperen van hun middeleeuwse fascistische ideologie. Zij zijn bezig met het islamiseren van onze universiteiten en de academische wereld. Ik kan nauwelijks wachten op de ongetwijfeld ontwijkende antwoorden van onze minister op de schriftelijke vragen:
