The difference is only in the terminology, but the result is still division. We should focus on showing respect to one another regardless of opinions, and ground our discussions in facts rather than assumptions or insinuations. Labeling or categorizing people does not resolve the problem, it only deepens the gap. If the true goal is education and preventing hate, then the best path is to debate ideas respectfully, challenge falsehoods with evidence, and avoid repeating the same patterns of exclusion and stereotyping that have caused harm in the past.
