#myfirstcinema where I made it to the end of the film was again on holiday to see The Santa Clause, December 1995, at the MGM Bournemouth. It is better known as the ABC, which it returned to after it was bought by Odeon - to separate it from the Odeon down the street. Closed 2017
#MyFirstCinema Showcase Walsall to see Rush Hour 2 went there many times over the years but started going to cineworld Wolverhampton more and then the light in walsall but last film i saw at the showcase was Halloween 2018

A couple of days late on this, but I've enjoyed seeing everyone else's - #MyFirstCinema was the Odeon Doncaster, which sadly closed in 2008. Mostly saw kiddie guff here, although I recall always being fascinated by the grand design of the building and its epic main screen.
#MyFirstCinema was the Cinema Maestoso in Monza, Italy, which also happened to be on the same road as the flat I grew up in. I think my first film was Tarzan (1999) but my most vivid memory was watching Fantasia 2000. Biggest screen in Italy at the time.

#MyFirstCinema. Unit 4 in Pemberton, Wigan (now carpet warehouse). It was a proper flea pit, and it definitely wasn’t Cinema Paradiso, but I have some fond cinematic memories as a kid & teenager. When I make my fortune I’m going to buy it back, & restore it for the community.

#MyFirstCinema was the old Queen’s Cinema in Gibraltar. I remember watching movies like Jurassic Park, Mission Impossible and The Matrix. So many memories and weekends with friends in this very classy place. It is now a Car Park now... that upsets me.

It’s still there now but I haven’t been inside for a number of years. Maybe I’ll revisit it when UK cinemas reopen! I love this hashtag.
