@TheRSC #MyFirstPlayWas A Midsummer's Night's Dream, from @TheRSC at Newcastle Theatre Royal, 1989. I was fairly young. I still have the programme; John Carlisle, Clare Higgins and David Troughton as Bottom. It was hilarious.
I couldn't have had a better introduction to Shakespeare.
