DAMNING EVIDENCE THAT THE ARP COMMITTEE CHAIRED BY @WVPitt USED AI TO DRAFT THE "SPECIAL MODERATOR'S COMMITTEE ON KINISM AND RACE REALISM" REPORT.
Using Pangram, a state of the art AI detector boasting a false positive rate of 0.004% on academic essays (https://t.co/KY7JGFHSYk), I have uncovered damning evidence that the ARP committee chaired by @WVPitt used AI to draft their "Special Moderator's Committee on Kinism and Race Realism" report.
Apart from the great research that @DrInquisitivus has done on the faulty URLs and misattributions present in the original and revised report, there is clear internal evidence that indicates that (at least) large portions of the report were written almost entirely, if not entirely, by AI. The breakdown provided by Pangram is attached below. All in all, 18% of the report was entirely AI generated, 4% was AI assisted, and 78% was human, though this may be an underestimate (as will be discussed below).
Since there is too much information to share, I will give one section's (arbitrarily split by Pangram) results, beginning with, "He contrasts two political models..." on page 25 and ending with, "...to speak with You." on page 28. According to Pangram:
* The em-dash (–) is used at least 10x more than is typical in human writing
* Contrastive parallelism (not just X, but Y) is used at least 3x more than is typical in human writing
* Triads (a, b, c) are used at least 4x more than is typical in human writing
* Unusual unicode (e.g., U+200B) characters are used at least 3x more than is typical in human writing
It should be noted that even if Pangram is mistaken in identifying these pieces of evidence, they are not used to calculate their AI score, which, again, has a false positive rate of 0.004%.
If you have any professional experience working with LLMs like I do, it would not be very difficult for you to spot the quirks so common in AI writing all throughout the report. In my judgment, Pangram severely underestimated the number of evidences. There is significantly more contrastive parallelism and triadic structure present than was identified. I have attached examples below.
