The #SP500 is flat today and the #Nasdsq is down 1.3%. Both have filled the recent gap now and theres no real change on the charts today. The blue lines above and below remain the key levels. There are jobs numbers tomorrow that are likely to be strong but after today's weak numbers, I don't expect big moves until the big money comes back next week after the holiday weekend.

The #stockmarket had a strong rally into the close yesterday and in the over night trading.
The #SP500 futures are up 0.8% and the #Nasdsq futures are up 2.2%.
This recovers much of the losses from 2 days ago and I will now be watching for the gaps to be closed during NY today. At that point I will be watching to see if it gets another drop or continues the recovery.
I am watching for clues to the continued or changing market structure that I keep mentioning because the market is currently at a consolidation/period of indecision and no one knows which way it will go next. So now is all about watching for signs that helps us position going forward.

The #stockmarket had a huge sell off today and the #SP500 closed down over 2.5% and the #Nasdsq nearly 5%.
Both broke the white horizontal lines which were the initial supports BUT neither has reached or breached the blue line. This is important because until that happens, market structure is unchanged. Higher highs and higher lows.
So for now, whilst today was ugly, the market is NOT breaking down and I am fully open to a bounce on Monday.
BUT, I do think a bigger 20+% correction is coming and this is certainly a crack. Take out the blue line and I will start to change my bias to saying the drop may have started. I remain SHORT on my swing trades and looking for much lower.
I still haven't seen a major reason for today's drop and with #oil also down, I am ruling out a front run of an escalation in Iran.
Lets see what comes out over the weekend and I will post an update with longer term targets when I can this weekend.

The #SP500 ended down just over 1% yesterday and the #Nasdsq was down nearly 2%. Both charts are range bound between the white support and resistance lines and whilst today's move feels large, it doesn't really change the charts.
I have posted before about how FED cuts usually trigger higher #US10year rates on the US 10 year bonds (this is counterintuitive and most retail investors think cuts mean prices will go up) and that is what happened on Friday with the 10 year up 0.8%. This is what caused the sell off in the stockmarket and I will be watching closely to see how it reacts to the green resistance line.
I remain short SP500 and Nasdaq but as I have said, I think a float up into year end is quite possible before a bigger drop in Q1 2026.
I have included my Nasdaq chart with my 2 targets for my short - 10% and 15% drops.
