Yesterday, we were joined by @NGObureau & @pdpoUG in a radio talk show on 104.7 Akica Fm, Moroto district to expound on the contribution and appreciation of the work of #NGOs in Karamoja subregion & the state of compliance to the regulatory framework.
As part of the #NGORegulatoryFramework engagements, yesterday, our team joined @NGObureau and @HRCUG on a radio talk show at Akica fm (104.7). We discussed the PDPO's role in safeguarding individuals' personal data by ensuring that it is handled responsibly by organizations and entities. #PersonalDataisPrivate #DataPrivacyUG
Our team together with stakeholders were last evening hosted at 104.7 FM Akica Radio Station in Moroto District where we were able to enlighten the public on the #NGORegulatoryFramework, operating environment & briefly explain the workings of the @NGObureau. @HRCUG @pdpoUG
Participants of the just concluded Reflection meeting for Karamoja Sub-Region. As a result the participants knowledge on the #NGORegulatoryFramework was enhanced. We thank the partners and @IrlEmbUganda for the continued support towards these engagements.
And further implored them to embrace the NGO regulatory framework and other compliance requirements to enhance sustainable and conducive working environment between #NGOs in Karamoja and Government.
