GOVT MISINFORMATION ALERT - If Ireland deploys DF to *EU Support Mission to Lebanon without Triple Lock -It will NOT be Blue Helmet Peacekeeping Mission -It will be EU Peace ENFORCEMENT Mission to Disarm Hezbollah (Based on Trilateral Agreement With Israel US & Lebanon)-CIVIL WAR
Just so you know.
The Government’s proposed Inquiry into the Scoliosis & Spina-bifida scandal will only investigate back to 2019.
Despite the scandal going on for over a decade - it featured in an #RTEInvestigates back in 2017.
Incredibly, this will exclude most of the time Simon Harris (2016-2020) was in the Department of Health.
This is what is known as a political cover-up.

⚡️ Statement by the Embassy of Russia in Ireland (October 23, 2026)
The much-publicised discussion in Ireland of the issues with the “Triple Lock” legislation and Irish neutrality includes continuing references to Russia made by the leaders of the Irish government, which contain unfounded allegations, as well as misrepresentation of the way the UN Peacekeeping mechanism works.
In the course of the debate in the Dáil on October 21, Helen McEntee, the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Defence, strongly objected to the current “Triple Lock” legislation on the grounds that it presumably allows Russia, as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, “to have a say over which peacekeeping missions we can send our troops to”, or even to veto Irish participation in such missions, and that ostensibly does not sit well with the Minister who believes that Russia is “attacking European member-states, including Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland”.
We strongly believe that any decisions on the matters of neutrality or any other policy matters are sovereign issues to be discussed and decided solely by the Irish government and the Irish people. At the same time, it is obvious that such decisions – whatever they are – should not be made under false assumptions, which is exactly the case with the Minister’s statements. Contrary to her assertions, the UN Security Council does not vote on what countries take part in a peacekeeping mission – its composition is agreed in the course of multilateral consultations conducted by the UN Secretariat and the interested UN member-countries. Also, there is no known record of Russia being against Ireland’s participation in any UN peacekeeping mission. Consequently, the allegations by Minister McEntee are reprehensible and misleading, grossly distorting the substance and the meaning of procedures provided by the UN Charter.
❗️In the same manner, the Minister’s speculations over Russia’s “attacks” on the EU countries are totally baseless, dangerously provocative and unacceptable. This kind of rhetoric is unthinkable for any responsible member of a government.
It is regrettable that the Irish government has chosen to deliberately question the workings of the UN – despite its much-advertised commitment to the central role of the UN in the international order – with the aim to promote domestic policy agenda. It is also incumbent upon Irish leadership to realise that exercises in Russophobia cannot make up for a serious failure in its approach to relations with Russia and issues of peace and stability in Europe.

Minister @CarrollJennifer failed to honour commitments made to families on 12 November 2025. Today, she offered no explanation.
She appointed Remy Farrell SC, and his terms of reference were published under regulations she herself signed.
She cannot now distance herself from the process or its outcome.
We have no confidence in the scoping process, proposed inquiry modules or Commission of Investigation.
Families will not be railroaded.

@SD73660 @FFT1776 We have #NoConfidence in elections because activist judges barred any discovery in court post 2020 elections! Few Americans believe out elections are free & fair especially in Blue states who refuse to comply with oversight and common sense laws to protect our vote!
@FunnyJim1965 I hope this is true and they all burn at the stake, but I doubt anything truly deserving will happen. #NoConfidence #TwoTieredJusticeSystem

https://t.co/cPj0beiI2o A Tribunal of Inquiry is the only way forward for the families affected by the Spina Bifida and Scoliosis scandal at CHI Ireland.

Please take a few minutes to visit https://t.co/cXpTa5pWc6 and have a read of why we are all not willing to settle for a Commission of Investigation. The Public Tribunal of Inquiry is the only acceptable form this inquiry can take.

STATEMENT
Today, at the Central Criminal Court in Dublin, survivors of child sexual abuse within St John Ambulance Ireland were told that the accused will not stand trial because he has been deemed medically unfit.
I first came forward in 1999. After twenty-seven years, there will be no criminal trial.
I reported the abuse because I believed that telling the truth would lead to justice. No charges were ever brought in relation to what was done to me.
But the State did not doubt my account. My complaint was investigated by Tusla's retrospective abuse team, which found it to be founded. He appealed that finding and lost. An independent panel upheld it. The State's own child protection agency accepted what I had said. The criminal justice system never acted on it.
Other survivors later came forward, and one account became part of a much wider and deeply disturbing picture.
Files on this individual were referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions on a number of occasions. Each time, the decision was not to prosecute. Years passed. Survivors grew older. The accused grew older. Charges came only after the Shannon review, on the complaints of other survivors. Today we were told it is too late.
That this was allowed to happen is a disgrace. It did not happen by accident. It happened because, time and again, the people with the power to act chose not to.
I accept that every accused person has legal and constitutional rights, including the right to be fit to stand trial. I do not question those rights or the medical determination.
But survivors have rights too.
We have the right to ask why this process took twenty-seven years.
We have the right to ask whether opportunities to prosecute were lost.
We have the right to ask why earlier decisions not to prosecute were made, and whether they should now be examined in light of all that later emerged.
And we have the right to ask whether the State's response to historical child sexual abuse is capable of delivering justice within the lifetimes of survivors and accused persons.
Those questions do not go away because there is no trial.
For years, we were asked to trust the system. We gave statements. We relived the worst experiences of our childhoods. We answered questions and we waited. When more survivors came forward, we did it all again. The human cost has been enormous.
The Shannon review found serious and systemic failures within St John Ambulance Ireland, including awareness of risks to children and a culture that facilitated grooming. Survivors should not have to accept another institutional response that simply says the process is over.
I am calling on the Garda Commissioner and the Director of Public Prosecutions to account publicly, insofar as the law permits, for the handling of these cases, including the decisions not to prosecute.
I am also calling for an independent examination of how these complaints were handled from 1999 onwards: the Garda investigations, the prosecution decisions, the time the process took, and whether an earlier prosecution was possible. It must be carried out by someone independent of An Garda Síochána, the DPP and the Department of Justice. The institutions whose decisions are in question cannot be the ones examining them.
Survivors of historical abuse across Ireland are watching. They need to know that if they walk into a Garda station and disclose what was done to them as children, they will be listened to, their complaints will be investigated promptly and fully, and they will not spend twenty-seven years wondering whether their case will ever reach a courtroom.
When I came forward in 1999, I could not have imagined that I would still be asking the State for answers in 2026.
There will be no criminal trial.
But there must still be accountability. There must still be answers. And An Garda Síochána, the DPP and the other State institutions must not mistake the end of a prosecution for the end of their responsibility to survivors.

@RahulGandhi If u 300 https://t.co/aiBzclP7P7 better bring #NoConfidence motion..Change this #Godi Government..why waste time on street. Although whether is nice these tough but inside parliament is still better. #KuchBhi
