@AZNBCTNetwork I journal the baby steps my special ed students make. It isn't an IEP goal or test question but it was still amazing today when S picked up animal counters to drop on floor rather than using arm to sweep them off wheelchair tray. #NBNow
@AZNBCTNetwork I have my students keep journals. While these are informal and are graded on participation, I can see the progression in their writing as they practice new techniques. I can also see which language and grammar skills need more practice. #NBnow

A2: This is seen through the delicate dance of instruction. As Ts, we need to be able to articulate to anyone at any time, why we make the decisions made in our classrooms. When we can do that, we show teaching is not something just ANYONE can do, but an art, a profession. #NBNow
