Happy International Women’s day! ❤️ I’ve recently discovered that my Taliban brothers (incl. their leadership, followers/supporters) are way more tolerant of the opinion of a woman (evidence in the 100’s of comments under my recent posts) than those who oppose them. You’ll see that the Taliban have left kind, reassuring & supportive comments whereas anti-Taliban individuals have left the most vile/derogatory, abusive & accusatory comments for me. It’s actually embarrassing for them to then claim that they are better people than the Taliban when they have demonstrated a complete lack of respect for freedom of speech & women’s rights through their comments. In the post below, I’ve said that I hope we can build more schools for girls & boys in Afghanistan because there is a complete lack right now & that it’s probably the worst education system in the world! Importantly, that the relevant individuals from the previous government stole from the funding that was designated to build the education sector, thereby leaving millions of people deprived of a good education (particularly those in villages (where most Taliban are from)). How dare you call them backward today? My brothers have been defamed more than they deserve & here’s the other side of the coin 💔
