🇳🇬 | #NEGERIA 🔴 Durante el festival anual de fertilidad Alue-Do en Ozoro, estado de Delta (Nigeria), decenas de mujeres fueron perseguidas por las calles a plena luz del día, despojadas de su ropa y agredidas sexualmente por grupos de hombres. Los atacantes actuaron ante cientos de testigos que, en lugar de intervenir, grabaron los hechos con sus teléfonos y vitorearon.
Varias víctimas tuvieron que ser hospitalizadas tras sufrir agresiones físicas y sexuales.
La policía ha detenido a más de una docena de sospechosos, entre ellos un líder comunitario, y las investigaciones continúan.
A pesar de las evidencias gráficas, algunos líderes locales han restado importancia al suceso, afirmando que el festival fue “malinterpretado” y negando que se produjeran violaciones. Los videos difundidos muestran lo contrario.
