Following the recent release of Jan Fromm’s #NiceTypeface, we are super excited to see this exceptional and highly versatile #typeface being greeted with a very warm reception and gracing the pages of multiple publications. 1/4
In contrast to historically oriented text #typefaces, which usually contain oldstyle numerals, @janfromm opted for lining figures for his #NiceTypeface, as these work better in the large optical sizes. Whether used in editorial, fashion or #branding – Nice cuts a fine figure.
The fact that the #NiceTypeface remains lively despite its efficiency is due to its humanistic characteristics and details: accentuated vertical/subtly curved horizontal serifs; strong drops, dots & accents; elements /w handwritten character or inktraps (in small optical sizes).

Nice has many faces: open, elegant, expressive, compact, robust, but it never looks boring. It is as lively as possible in order to convey messages in a serious and credible way. Its name speaks for itself – friendly in appearance, charming in expression and pleasant in use.
Nice’s optical sizes allow a high degree of application-specific optimizations. As the name suggests, Nice Poster works best in very large applications (>48pt) but some may want to use it below that and guess what, why not? ❡ #NiceTypeface
The smallest member of the #NiceTypeface, Micro, is recommend to be used for font sizes from about 6 to 9pt. The largest member, Poster, for larger applications (>48pt). But, of course, that is just a suggestion …
