Nigerians proposing #ReligiousStrikeAction, urging all Muslims and Christians to temporarily suspend attending religious centers until the following is achieved:
1. Religious Leaders Advocate for the People..
Religious leaders—CAN, the Islamic Council, Churches, Mosques, Bishops, Pastors, General Overseers, Reverends, Apostles, Imams, and others should be COMPELLED with #NoTithe #NoOfferings #ReligiousStrikeAction to rise and use their platforms to demand basic rights from the Senators, House Representatives, Governors, LGA Chairpersons, Ministers, Commissioners, and the Judiciary.
Forget about the president for now.
Our immediate focus is on holding accountable the National Assembly (109 Senators and 360 Representatives), 36 State governors, and over 774 local government Chairpersons who are not giving the citizens their daily benefits and social welfares as we listed.
2. Immediate Government Action
The government must either fulfill these demands or outline an urgent plan to fulfil them systematically with tangible imidiate actions.
Demands Citizens Are Making:
Fuel at ₦100/L
₦400k monthly allowance for adults and ₦190k for children
Free education for all
Uninterrupted electricity
A minimum wage of ₦500k (₦800k for police and military)
Gas at ₦80/kg
Immediate release of all political prisoners, protests, activists and journalists.
Free healthcare and medical insurance for citizens earning below ₦800k monthly
A new, citizen-focused constitution
Real-time electronic voting with no INEC interference
₦200k monthly student allowances
Mandatory job creation in all states or impeachment of non-performing governors
98% salary cuts for politicians, redirecting the funds to public services
Visa-free travel to 100+ countries with a Nigerian passport
Housing allowances for civil servants
Sports funding of ₦300k per child annually
Pregnancy allowances of ₦2 million per woman
They must figure out how to meet these demands execution is not the responsibility of the people.
While citizens plead with "God", the government continues to neglect its responsibilities towards the citizens.
Vague complaints slogan like “hunger dey” doesn't make any clear requests.
The "hunger" could be inadvertented fasting and prayers that most people does. Thinking that suffering will take them to heaven.
Only clear, unified, and direct action can bring about change.
We need a revolution, not another rigged election already concluded for 2027.
Citizens please suspend all religious gatherings temporarily and redirect their energy toward asking religious leaders to champion the people’s demands.
A unified #ReligiousStrikeAction will compel religious leaders who wield immense influence to advocate for the people.
Once the religious leaders join the citizen's demands, no lives will be lost, and the government will have no choice but to comply.
This is a *peaceful* and *effective strategy* to force the government to act. Now you have to act by pushing this strategy everyday until you see results.
We are ready to break free from complacency and demand what we deserve, and not continuing to tolerate the current misery.
