📢Calling all Dogecoin members. Bitcoin has 180x times more reachable nodes and 300,00x more mining power than the Dogecoin network. This is my call to increase our numbers. Consider running the following: Dogecoin Core Full Node Dogecoin Mining Hardware We have a large community but only a fraction of us are securing the network. We got this!🧡 Share this out and spread the word!

Releasing probably Monday opensource the #Dogecoin #NodesTracker that will allow anyone run on their own computer and see and discover all dogecoin peers/nodes worldwide, it can be run on Windows, macOS, Linux a way to try incentive people to run more nodes live tracking shows only ~70 healthy full dogecoin nodes of a total of only ~460 full nodes running. healthy = full dogecoin nodes synchronized to the most recent block

Why Dogecoin Nodes dropped drastically in the last recent years? The true story that no one tells you and people that think they know... a Long thread 🧵 Fact 1: wen it started to drop Dogecoin nodes ? Re: 2 or 3 Years ago for two reasons basically, CGNAT + drastically increase of Blockchain size Fact 2: What is CGNAT? Re: In resume, using Dogecoin CORE full node, it will not work as a full node and so will not show up as a working node do to blocked incoming connection. Fact 3: Why? what happened? why CGNAT and who is using it? Re: Starlink started to offer internet services worldwide in the recent years, most people in Dogecoin loves Elon musk and so some changed to Starlink, and Nodes started to disappear and that was visible on the Dogecoin Nodes Map https://t.co/DVti7hTvnj but besides Starlink more Internet Service Providers started to enable CGNAT do to low IPv4 addresses available. Fact 3: Why Blockchain Size increased drastically ? Re: Well.... DRC-20 / Doginals , people storing any kind of arbitrary data on Dogecoin Blockchain. Blockchain today is almost 200GB of data and increasing and running a node on a datacenter it's costly for 200GB of disk and there is no incentive to run them. Fact 4: Does it also have anything to do with privacy? Re: No, people like @DogeAccept or @OneGoodShibe or @John_Inubook are saying it's because I mapped all Dogecoin nodes on the map, but my map exists since 2021 and wen I started people got so excited to show on the map that started to run more nodes reaching almost 10.000 Nodes in 2022 after all the hype on Bull Market. Fact 4: Is you Dogecoin Node IP address public to everyone? doesnit have privacy? Re: Yes, your Dogecoin IP using Dogecoin CORE or DogeGo is public, it's on the Dogecoin protocol and anyone can know publicly your internet service provider with your IP. The fault is the Dogecoin protocol, implemented on CORE since 2013 that also runs on Bitcoin or Litecoin etc Fact 5: Were can you confirm what I'm saying is the truth and I'm not lying? Re: Go to https://t.co/EHv4T9DO2t or ask any CORE developer like @chromatic_x how nodes/peers are discovered and how they are stored and if anyone can see anyone peers/IP or discover publicly the internet service provider. Fact 6: Can the bear market also influence the low Nodes count? Re: Absolutely, but 2022 we were already in a bear market and Dogecoin Nodes still increased and started to drop after DRC-20 / Doginals and Starlink CGNAT. Fact 7: What can be done to fix CGNAT limitations? Re: https://t.co/coKGoijEFZ Full Dogecoin Node already solves that but it's a beta pre-release and needs more people testing and than we can even make a proposal for CORE to also implement it. Fact 8: Can you have privacy to not exposure your IP? Re: Yes and No. CORE and DogeGo already allows you to run on TOR or using a VPN but, that is a false sense of privacy because your IP will always be exposed to someone before having privacy. Fact 9: I'm I exposing on the Dogecoin Nodes Map your IP addresses or storing it on the database? Re: No, Dogecoin CORE is the platform that is exposing the IPs from all peers/nodes, the Dogecoin Nodes Map only generates an hash/checksum of the IP exposed by CORE Node and stores on the database. You can check all code opensource here https://t.co/MkYgFNYkmo Hope it can help some people that are not saying things has they are. People should incentivize running Dogecoin nodes, that's why I started https://t.co/coKGoijEFZ opensource project, for people to run in any device a full Dogecoin node without the complexity of running CORE in a fun easy intuitive way. Everyone should be working together not trolling and attacking everything they don't like and mostly don't understand how ot really works or the intenti8of the project. Dogecoin cannot be taken seriously if this continue 🙂 Note: no LLM / AI was used on rhis post, so sorry my bad English and probably the way I try to explain.

The true story that no one tells you and people that think they know... a Long thread 🧵

Fact 1: wen it started to drop Dogecoin nodes ?
Re: 2 or 3 Years ago for two reasons basically, CGNAT + drastically increase of Blockchain size

Fact 2: What is CGNAT?
