The Name - Threadguy, but he doesn’t writes threads. Isn’t that funny? And that’s the whole point of his persona in the space. It allowed web3 to know him as Threadguy in the sea full of thread writers 😂
The PFP - Threadguy used his MAYC PFP since 2021. He was one of the first meme creators in the space & was a source of great vibes. He became Tally Labs Director of Vibes. He was almost elected into the Apecoin council. All throughout that span, he never changed his PFP even if Franklin or BoredElon offered him more valuable PFPs to rock
It allowed everyone to know that this ugly mutant with this color-way is TG - and this worked well when @jackbutcher did the Opepen Threadition for TG. Jack used his Mutant’s color palettes & turned it into an Opepen
So what’s the point?
1️⃣ Create a brand that’s uniquely you before you create content. This is a very important first step. You can choose a PFP that’s unique too. Make sure it’s something you can own & build on top of. And once you chose that PFP, stick with it as much as you can
2️⃣ Create content that’s truly yours. Know what you’re good at & build on it. Double down on it. Create, engage, & build audience. Your opportunity will also come down the road - as it gets paved by platforms that do allow creators to shine like Opepen by @jackbutcher
Embrace your individuality & embrace a unique PFP first, then create & engage on top of that, then they’ll follow
