🚨 2024-25 AAC Pre-Season QB Rankings 🚨 This list ranks who we believe to be the day 1 starter for each team, it is possible some teams go a different direction. A few notes: -MANY factors at play with these rankings such as experience, previous stats, scheme fits, supporting cast, playmaking ability, etc... -Byrum Brown and Seth Henigan look to be the most dangerous this season once again, to nobody's surprise -Zeno looks to build on a stellar 23-24 campaign with better understanding of the offense and more confidence in his arm -Ty Thompson has the talent to be in the top 3, but expectations must be tempered until we see what the new offense looks like. Kai Horton would be placed at #4 too should he get the nod -Michigan St. transfer Kaitin Houser might have the highest ceiling in a new-look Pirate offense that will emphasize SPEED -Chandler Morris taking over one of the more explosive offenses at UNT could be a match made in heaven...but he may stumble out of the gate a little bit -EJ Warner to Rice was a bit unexpected, but he has one of the prettiest deep balls in the conference and has a high ceiling. Needs to work on turnovers -Cam Fancher is a bit of a wild card. He played well at Marshall, but accuracy was an issue. He could easily shoot up or slide down this list once the season starts -Tulsa is a tough one to figure out. Kirk Francis SHOULD get the nod, and he has the talent to excel. Cardell Williams could return as starter following his surgery, which would place him in this spot as well -Bryson Daily is a beast and the only reason he sits in this spot is solely because of the option offense. He will have a stellar season and make a big impact, just not so much through the air obviously -Max Brown has the chance to do something special at Charlotte, but Poggi's offense seems to change too much game-to-game for him to establish some consistency at first. We do think he will finish higher on this list by season end -Owen McCown has a lot of pressure to excel quickly, that usually does not help, especially given his lack of experience in all game situations. UTSA will likely rely heavily on its plethora of weapons and establish a strong ground game early on -Blake Horvath flashed at times, but Navy has an absolute game-changer in Alex Tecza who we believe will steal the spotlight in Annapolis this season -Evan Simon is stepping into a rocky situation. Temple hit the portal hard and could be one of the surprise teams to improve this season, but Simon will likely need to play at a level that we have not yet seen from him thus far @GunslingerBuzz @CFBRep @GroupOfFiveGuys #AAC | #QBRankings | #NCAAF
