People like this have no place in policing.
One by one, we’re ridding the service of these individuals who undermine public confidence and let down the overwhelming majority of brilliant people in policing.

I will not shy away from the fact these “people” walk amongst us, not just in my force but in others.
I hope the victim takes some solace in the sentence and rightful decision of the hearing
I take pride in the fact colleagues reported this #NotInMyForce

I agree with @BTPCasey that it is depressing but it is also good to see a strong response and praise for those standing up to this behaviour.

Two @BTPSpecials dismissed without notice.
Yet another case of sexual misconduct. It’s depressing that this still happens, but our response time and again is clear.
Hugely proud of those who had the courage to report this, and those who supported.

@HewittLiz251179 @_the_blue_line_ Well done for speaking out! It’s really hard and people often just don’t get it. #NotInMyForce In order to be inclusive we need to change attitudes.
This is still going on, it’s not just an issue within policing… this is an issue engrained I’m society and both need to be tackled. It’s time to challenge and make people aware that #notinmyforce
@BTPCasey @BTP It is right that we stand up to anyone with Misogynistic, sexist and discriminatory behaviour. There is no place for it in Policing or society.

As soon as he showed his warrant card at the hotel, he assumed duty of care for this intoxicated woman. He abused that duty. Gross misconduct and loss of job at the very least please! https://t.co/AE7KrfRThy #badapples #GetHimOut #metmisconduct #misogyny #metpolice
As police officers we’re encouraged to challenge poor behaviour and so many “scandals” are coming to light because good cops are stepping up and reporting it. Rome wasn’t built in a day but the foundations have been laid! #NotInMyForce
This behaviour has no place in society let alone a public service organisation. As a representative of the police service I am disgusted that people who would wear the same uniform as me consider this behaviour as OK.
