This account has now become my personal account. I’ve had the account for a long time, in a work capacity, and will likely use it at some point in the future as my personal work account.

Yesterday Rakeem Miles, 24, was sentenced to 8 years in prison with a 13-year extended licence period for manslaughter. Samuel Winter lost his life in an unprovoked attack at a London Underground station last summer.
Recognise these men?
Officers would like to speak to them as they may have information helpful to their investigation into a attempted robbery at Greenford railway station this week.
Have info? Text 61016, quoting reference 55 of 9 June.

@ItsNeverYou22@LondonMarathon Absolutely heartbreaking, I just cannot begin to imagine.
Huge kudos to you for taking on this incredible challenge.
Good luck for the day!
Whilst these are allegations, and clearly Greg Wallace has an alternate view… the answer should never be to belittle it shoot down women who share their experiences.
Almost immediately… the flurry of “why didn’t you…” lines come when the many women like @KirstieMAllsopp share their dreadful experiences of working with Greg Wallace.
The comments really are depressing, especially people minimising the harm of a toxic workplace.
Why say nothing? Because you feel, in no particular order, embarrassed, a prude, shocked, waiting for a male colleague to call him out, not wanting to “rock the boat”, thinking it’s better to plough on with the day, assuming you misheard/misunderstood or just don’t get the joke.
Final long run done before my first Half Marathon next Sunday!
I couldn’t let the heavy rain (and mud!) put me off today… 🏃🏼🌧️
I’m doing it for @GOSHCharity - any donations are always very welcomed. They do an amazing work 💙

Everyone should be able to travel safely and without fear, and tackling violence against women and girls is a collective responsibility
Today I met with @RailDeliveryGrp and @BTP to learn how they are addressing the problem head on, and what support is out there for passengers🚆

Today is Emergency Services Day!
A huge thank you to all our officers and staff, past and present, and to everyone across the blue light family.
To those who’ve served and those who continue to run towards danger every day – we are incredibly grateful. 💙

@catherinerusse2@TfL@BTP I’m really sorry to hear this. We do have a Digital Evidence Management System that allows the investigator to request your footage by sending you a link.
If you want to DM the log number, I’ll look into this.
@LilaTamea Sorry to see this. Hope you’re ok. Please do report this to @BTP so it can be investigated. I’m glad to see @TellMamaUK are tagged and supporting.

This week some of our amazing officers received commendations which recognised their outstanding courage, bravery, and commitment in policing.
Commendations were given out for specific incidents where lives were saved and crimes prevented.

@WeCops Mixture of error under pressure. But also there will be some not recording because they don’t want their conduct to be seen by others. It’s a small minority who let the majority down. #WeCops
@WeCops Yes, yes, yes! We often don’t release for a variety of reasons… and sit back while a distorted version of events is played out publicly (even after footage is seen by journalist) and believed by many. We need to be bolder in this space. #WeCops
It was a huge honour to recognise colleagues and public today, at @TheBMA House in London, who have done exceptional work.
Live-saving interventions, bringing violent offenders to justice, and an officer who was praised by @policeconduct for how they dealt with a male in crisis.
