Reports indicate that a trailer carrying a heavy load fell on the school shuttle, and it appears that only one person survived.
HOW MANY MORE LIVES UNTIL IT IS ENOUGH?
It began with Kogi Poly students and poor Felele residents. These people were dying in their numbers due to one form of accident or the other. If it is not the notorious killer, a Dangote trailer, it will be a fuel truck claiming the lives of people going about their businesses. For many years, one administration after the other, management after management, nothing has been done about this. Parents and relatives continue to morn the loss of their loved ones while the rest of us carried on like that is how life is meant to be.
Since the permanent site became operational, the students of Federal University Lokoja have also become victims of these terrible accidents where the chances of survival for anyone involved is less than 1%. We have seen too much to know that the government and the school management do not care. Nobody is going to do anything about this unless they are strong armed to do so.
Knowing that no one is coming to save you, you must all band together and say enough is enough until the people who are empowered to protect you from these accidents are not just ready to listen but also ready to take measures in other to curtail this, and we the citizens must lend our voice to the cries of these students. @kogihub @Oladapomikky1 @OmepaKogi_ @NigeriaGov @RazaqDesigner @DangoteGroup @AlikoDangote
