Repairs are underway at the #OBPier! This week crews began installing scaffolding on the west end for emergency repairs on two columns damaged by high surf in January 2021. Repairs will take an estimated 8 weeks to complete, depending on the weather and tidal conditions.
ICYMI: Last month, we began emergency repairs on the 55-year-old #OBPier to fix damage caused by high surf last January, which will take about four months. Once complete, the full span of the pier will reopen to the public for the first time in more than a year. #ForAllofUs
