I’ve always spoken out against sexism and ageism, including in politics and in my *own party*.
It’s unacceptable that an @OntLiberal leadership candidate has cited @BonnieCrombie’s age as a reason Ontario Liberals shouldn’t support her in her bid for the party leadership.
Suggesting a leadership candidate wouldn’t stick around for a second election cycle because of their age is not on. We need to keep this leadership race focused on policy and party renewal — that is the only way forward.
