The government’s Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) are a direct assault on our land and livelihoods. For the Australian farmer, this is a story of forced sacrifice. Multi-generational farms are being carved in half by 80-meter-wide industrial easements, permanently scarring our most productive agricultural heartlands. These high-voltage lines make it impossible to maneuver modern GPS-guided machinery and ground the vital aerial firefighting planes that protect our regional communities. The constant threat of biosecurity breaches from outside contractors and heavy machinery moving across sensitive paddocks risks spreading weeds and disease that can devastate livestock. The NSW Libertarians and John Ruddick MLC refuse to buy into climate hysteria that justifies this destruction. Our solution is to keep our coal-fired power stations open, ensuring the cheap, reliable, and dispatchable energy NSW needs to thrive. We believe in an energy policy that prioritises affordability, reliability, and the protection of our farmers. Our regional communities and suburban families shouldn't have to pay the price for lost farmland and a grid that can't stay on. #energy #australianfarms #libertarian

Safely ensconced in an office, far from the West Suffolk countryside, farmland and nature they wish to destroy, and the people they will forcibly uproot from their homes*, the developers scheme and plot their 'forest city'.
