Knowledge is the foundation of reform and transformation.
It takes humility to acknowledge system-level capacity gaps—but doing so is the first step toward meaningful solutions.
As part of Nigeria’s ongoing health sector reforms, we have launched the Capacity Development for Health Managers in Nigeria training program. This initiative aims to equip three carefully selected master trainers from each of the 36 states and the FCT, along with their counterparts in the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare Nigeria @Fmohnigeria, and other Federal Health MDAs.
The goal?
To cascade this knowledge and capacity-building effort across every corner of Nigeria, embedding systems thinking and strengthening planning capabilities at all levels.
Together, we are laying the groundwork for high-quality, practical, realistic, pragmatic, and comprehensive health plans that will drive better budgeting and stronger outcomes for all.
