Hon’ble Minister @mpprataprao Ji, please hear the voice of AYUSH interns & PG scholars.
When PG stipends in several State Government AYUSH institutions are around ₹1 lac to ₹1.25 lac /month and interns receive ₹32,000–₹40,000/month, why should students of Central AYUSH Institutes such as NIH, NIA, AIIA, NEIAH NIUM, NIS, ITRA etc. receive this much significantly less amount inspite of giving their best in terms of patient care and academic excellence.
The disparity exists not only with other systems of medicine but even within AYUSH itself.
We serve patients. We pursue academics. We conduct research.
We ask only for fairness and parity.
We sincerely request🙏 urgent intervention and a meaningful revision of stipends at the earliest across all the central institutes of AYUSH including Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Sidha and Unani.
If our long-pending demand remains unaddressed, students may be compelled to undertake collective peaceful protest, including suspension of OPD services, as a last resort.

After spending the entire day treating patients, fulfilling our duties, and dedicating our week to healthcare, we return home to a stipend that doesn't even meet the bare minimum.
We care for others. When will our efforts be valued?

We're doctors in training, serving patients, carrying responsibilities, and showing up even when things get difficult.
We dedicate our time to healthcare. Yet, for all this work, we're not even receiving what should be the bare minimum.

One Nation. One Bond. One Stipend. 🇮🇳🩺
Same degree. Same duties. Same bond — then why different stipends?
It’s time for equal pay for equal work across India.

Uttarakhand PG Residents work 400+ hours/month but receive only ₹60,000.
They deserve fair, dignified & regularly revised stipends—not disparity.

Day 5 of Peaceful Protest
400+hours of work every month, yet Uttarakhand PG Residents get only ₹60k
This isn’t fair. Residents deserve a stipend that reflects their workload, responsibility and long working hours.
End the disparity. Ensure fair & timely stipend revision.
