Today's March the 5th! Fourteen (14) years ago (03/05/2011), Akagami no Shanks stopped the Marineford War during episode #OnePiece489 of the One Piece Anime. Looking back, you would think that such an important moment in the series would receive a lot of love from the staff, but it looked like our "regular" One Piece episode of the Pre Time Skip with just some cool corrections from the Animation Director of that episode (Atsuko Kawamura). Obviously, the episode was still good, because Oda's pen was on fire during this particular moment. The episode was directed by the infamous "legend", Yutaka Nakashima, who was somewhat on his "prime" back then (?) A lot of individuals love to gas up the Pre Time Skip Anime & that's okay, because the episode rhythm was way friendly back then, but the quality of the episodes were very inferior to what we got nowadays & the fact that people outrageously compare (still) Marineford's Anime Quality to WCI, Wano & Egghead is delusional behavior. Like, just look how much love Shanks got during #OnePiece1112: https://t.co/SEyW7QDjTQ Episode 489 doesn't even have a character acting moment. Anyway... 14 years ago, wow! It makes you think a lot about life, you know? God bless Oda, dude. Man's has been around for a long time. #OnePiece

Today's March the 4th! Eight Years ago (03/04/2017), the last episode of the Zou Anime, #OnePiece779, was released! The 1st time it was shown that Kaido was an alcoholic, Jack was a fish-men, & it was the first time we saw Captain Kid since the ending of Dressrosa. The episode had an interesting staff, but it was entertaining nonetheless... Well, to be honest, the episode was carried by the Manga content, but the quality of it was solid enough to be enjoyable. #OnePiece
