Germany was hit by a series of severe weather events as an active cold front triggered numerous supercells, powerful thunderstorms, large hail, torrential rain, and damaging wind gusts. Affected regions included Saxony, Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and Saxony-Anhalt. Near Rathen, one person was killed by a falling tree, and several others were injured. Strong winds also brought down numerous trees in the Stuttgart area.

A powerful downpour struck Hanoi during the evening rush hour. Between 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., more than 4.5 inches (115 mm) of rain fell in the Long Bien area. The intense rainfall caused localized street flooding.

Torrential rainfall created dangerous flooding conditions in Pune. Rising river levels completely submerged Bhide Bridge and nearby roads along the riverbanks. The overflowing Mutha River also flooded the residential neighborhood of Ekta Nagar.

On the evening of July 31, a powerful thunderstorm with torrential rain, strong winds, and hail struck the city of Biała Podlaska and Biała County in Lublin Voivodeship. Wind gusts reached 71 mph (115 km/h). Between 1.2 and 1.6 inches (30–40 mm) of rain fell across the northern part of the city within minutes, rapidly flooding streets.

A tornado, large hail, and damaging winds struck southern Santa Fe Province. The strongest tornado was reported in a rural area near Bernardo de Irigoyen in San Jerónimo Department, as well as around Campo Soto and Campo Mauro, damaging fields and some farm buildings. At the same time, severe thunderstorms with large hail, torrential rain, and damaging winds affected Rosario, Funes, and the Cordón Industrial area. Strong winds overturned a truck on the Rosario–Córdoba Highway.

Damaging straight-line winds caused most of the destruction across the Chicago area and surrounding communities. Cook County declared a state of emergency after severe storms triggered flash flooding, damaged buildings, disrupted transportation, and caused widespread power outages.

Schodack received up to 11.79 inches (299.47 mm) of rain over 48 hours, while Albany recorded 5.45 inches (138.43 mm) on July 29, making it the second-wettest day there since records began in 1874.

South Korea is experiencing a record-breaking heat wave. The temperature in Yangsan reached 105.8°F (41°C), the highest ever recorded in the country. Temperatures above 104°F (40°C) have persisted in the region for three consecutive days. The highest level of weather alert has been issued for South Gyeongsang Province.
