Finally, Maharashtra Govt is opening up cinemas from Oct 22nd. Schools open first week Oct. I wish cinemas also opened with schools. I thank everybody who supported my protest under #OpenUpCinemas
Dear @OfficeofUT
Now that you have opened religious places and schools, why are cinemas still shut?
Why are you against the livelihood of millions of workers?

According to latest @mybmc survey Over 85% Mumbai population has Covid-19 antibodies.
Still cinemas are shut which are most Covid manageable places. So many films are stuck, livelihood of millions at stake but no empathy in the heart of our King @OfficeofUT

Dear @OfficeofUT,
When all bars/restaurants are full what’s the point of 50% capacity and 10PM restriction?
What’s the logic of not opening up cinemas where, in fact, it’s easiest to follow strict Covid protocol.
Pl #OpenUpCinemas. Enough is enough.
So happy to learn that people have started going to cinemas. Now, if @myogiadityanath can open cinemas in UP, @OfficeofUT you must also #OpenUpCinemas because almost 60% of theatre business is in Maharashtra.
Watched #Thalaivii yesterday in packed cinema hall at Natraj theatre in Jhansi.
The palpable reactions in the theatre were so obvious of film’s outcome.
One word ”outstanding”
I m still figuring who did better #KangnaRanaut or #ArvindSwami!
I was wondering, instead of #Thalaivii if #Thackeray was releasing today, would this Maharashtra government still not #OpenUpCinemas?
Can someone solve this puzzle?

I am happy that the campaign I started is now being followed up by the theatre owners. But when will Bollywood Leaders speak up?
