1/ So apparently wife got a call yesterday claiming to be from Optus.
They asked about speed tests and if she was happy, she was a hood customer and always paid on time. Mum replied yeah sometimes speed is slow and freezing. #Optushack
One is they have mandatory breach notifications by law, therefore they have to disclose their data breaches, additionally the Australian Signals Directorate also keeps a close tab, however since the #OptusHack it has been a domino effect on other companies since the data from that breach has been used to breach other service providers. The most recent Latitude Financial breach is the largest in their history, I suspect this trend will continue for sometime.
