Today we are learning about the Allegheny River.
The river starts in north central PA (Potter County) and flows into western New York and then re-enters northwestern PA. The Allegheny contributes 60 percent of the Ohio River flow at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. #pacleanwaterweek

Today’s lesson is on the Delaware River.
The Delaware River is 330 miles in length - from its headwaters in New York to the Delaware Bay - making it the longest undammed river east of the Mississippi.

Lake Erie is home to one of the largest commercial freshwater fisheries in the world. It is the Walleye capital of the world, and anglers travel from all over the world to fish these waters for Walleye, as well as for salmon and steelhead trout. #PAcleanwaterweek
