Every chance I get to collaborate with SLPs I do. They know SO much about language and often their expertise is not tapped into and it is a huge loss to one and all- especially students. #PALearning
Ch. 11 focuses on PA for students with complex communication needs (CCN). SLPs are the experts here. How are you collaborating with your school SLP for the best student outcomes? #PALearning
I am trained in LIPS and found it very helpful for teaching the articulatory gestures of our speech sounds- making them concrete for children. Also, in our sound wall work many teachers use the LIPS descriptors to teach the sounds and anchor them by descriptor. #PALearning
@joeycr1209 I agree. Dave Kilpatrick set the literacy world on fire with his Essentials book and ERS and yet he is completely absent from the book. Since this book was published well after his I wonder why his seismic work was not included. #PALearning

Error correction is heavily dependent on T knowledge as well but knowing the components of an error correction is also essential to fundamentally sound practice. #PALearning
@susanhall_EdD How have you found it best to support teachers with error correction? We have been working with NCIL on the ECRI routines and seen some excellent outcomes. I saw a teacher transfer the error correction procedure in her classroom and it was magic. #PALearning
Me, too! When I am classrooms there is always so much noise from the heater or air conditioning so difficult to really hear and listen ALL my kids benefited from the sound amplification system. I wish they were a standard resource for teachers.#PALearning
