Those South Sudanese rebels are not just a threat to peace in #SouthSudan but also a major threat to peace in #Gambella, #Ethiopia. In the last two years, they massacred civilians in #Jor district in Gambella, Ethiopia. They also killed civilians in #Piino area under the #Itang district. They take advantage of the wide open borders between South Sudan and Ethiopia to smuggle weapons, kidnap children, steal cattle, and attack small villages at the border of Ethiopia. They are terrorist group with too much blood in their hands. They use the #refugee camps in Gambella to get rations and foods. And also use the camps as fields for recruiting and mobilizing rebels. There would be no peace if they still exist at the areas that they are currently occupying. The Federal forces in Elia-kirra are under intense attack by the Nuer refugees. The military camp is set on fire and destroyed. Many of them who survived have made it to #Piino village at them moments. I guess this what the #Ethiopian government has been waiting for.
