I was pretty proud of how my game looks, but I was told to up my game.
Upon reflection I had become content with my skills, and he was right.
So I'm upping my game. Got a plan, will take some time but #PONGslaught will return in beta mode.

Working on a shader (code for graphics) to 3Dify my 2D game images.
Like normal maps but adds volume past edges too.
Took several hours but it's starting to look pretty cool. Want to iterate and incorporate in all my projects.
Not dead yet, I just kinda became a farmer is all.
I still code and love making #PONGslaught, but after a very long time obsessively making games I'm taking a couple seasons off.
My coding side project is a #GodotEngine GFX package.
I will return to my game before the year end
I'm still working on #PONGslaught, but since I can't market anymore (blackballed by algorithm) I'm just quietly working away on updates. No sense in putting all-nighters in to push an update when literally no one even notices.

If all goes well I should be able to make public the first release-candidate of the auto-updating launcher for my game #PONGslaught by the morning
(as well as the newest version of the game, lots of quality of life updates)

I felt inspired again to come back to development on #PONGslaught
The launcher is pretty much done, just need to fix a critical bug in the game itself before I can release it.

Still working hard on the launcher. More tedious than anticipated (a shortcut I tried failed) but it's actually becoming quite the handy tool to have. Will make updates much smaller, and will use assets installed in other branches locally if found

So I've been working on optimizing the charged plasma gun ability for #PONGslaught since it was a major lag point. Got it running smooth so I'm taking this time to add way, way more bullets.
