Canales was definitive about his receiver strategy on #pantherstalk Everything starts with T-Mac: "It's going to start with T-Mac... we're going to count on him." Toughest Looks: He acknowledged T-Mac gets the opponent's best corner and "the whole gamut" of coverages (press, safety help), comparing it to his experience scheming for Mike Evans in Tampa. Creating Access: Because T-Mac draws so much attention, Canales says the staff must "put him in different situations" (e.g., move him around, use different formations) to "create access for him." Opportunities for Others: This focus on T-Mac, in turn, "means great opportunities for everybody else" (like Coker and XL), who he expects to "make [their] plays."
