The 865-Meters long #Panthyal #Tunnel on NH-44 (#Srinagar-#Jammu National #Highway) in its final stages of completion. Tunnel is likely to be through for traffic by 2023. This will provide relief to the commuters from nightmare of shooting stones. #JammuKashmir #EarthDay

Recently constructed T-5 tunnel was designed to provide a bypass for the problematic #Panthyal stretch, which was prone to landslides/Shooting stones. However,now similar geological events have occurred on the southern end of the newly constructed tunnel. #JammuAndKashmir #NWH
