BLOCKFILLS HALTS WITHDRAWALS AMID CRYPTO TURMOIL
Susquehanna-backed crypto lender BlockFills has suspended client deposits and withdrawals, citing recent market volatility. The Chicago-based firm, which serves 2,000 institutional clients and handled $60 bn in 2025 trading, remains open for select trading but is limiting liquidity.
The move echoes past crypto downturns, including the 2022 collapse of FTX and other lenders. Bitcoin’s recent drop below $65,000—down ~45% from October highs—has intensified pressures, while stalled U.S. crypto legislation continues to weigh on the market.

The worse part about this $BTC pullback in my opinion is, a lot of investors were holding #paperbitcoin sold to them unknowingly by exchanges. Now those same exchanges will buy that back at a major discount. Thus incentivizing them to do it again.
Something has to change.

Ja die ETF's machen Bitcoin insgesamt noch zugänglicher. Aber vor allem für große (oder gleich institutionelle) Investoren. Auch ist die Knappheit von Bitcoin durch die ETF's und andere finanzielle Vehikel "elastischer", Stichwort #PaperBitcoin.
Meiner Meinung nach werden die institutionellen Investoren über die nächsten Wochen und Monate immer mehr die Preisentwicklung vorantreiben und bestimmen.
Sie haben die großen Fiat Bags.
Sie haben finanzielle Werkzeuge die dem normalen Retail Investor fehlen.
Sie sind neu in diesem Zyklus, sie hatten bis vor kurzem noch kaum Exposure.
