The youths have shown that #ParlimenDigital can be held. The UK parliament conducted hybrid system since last year. There is no reason to stop the functions of Parliament.
To date, the Parliament has yet to amend the Standing Orders to allow virtual sessions.

We keep saying this over & over again: @JeanVaneisha+ team spent weeks amending the ACTUAL DR's Standing Orders & devising protocols for the Speaker + S/U DR + MPs to function near seamlessly for #ParlimenDigital.

I can't believe its only been a year since #ParlimenDigital, tbh it feels like a lifetime ago.
I thought I'd be celebrating this anniversary with the rest of the PD team, hosting a catchup with the PD reps and cutting a cake or something.

#FallbackFriday, itโs been almost a year since I tried and got selected for @ParlimenDigital/#ParlimenDigital last year. Organized by @UNDI18MY et al, got a chance to meet various MPโs to pick their brains like @MSabu_Official, @SyedSaddiq and @mariachin of many.
Since the Secretariat & volunteers of #ParlimenDigital are made up of many women, we find the suggestion that women should be "bodoh-bodoh sikit" is a huge letdown, coming from a public figure & motivator, as it is offensive & disempowering, for both men & women.
Kalau jodoh lambat, tiada kaitan dengan paras hormon kita, testosteron dan estrogen tak memainkan peranan dalam hal jodoh, tiada bukti saintifik langsung.
Dan kalau jodoh tak sampai pun, itโs okay.
Jangan sesekali merendahkan nilai anda untuk orang lain.

Fun fact, exactly a year ago today, we started planning for #ParlimenDigital. That's right: we did it in a month. Lots of hands on deck, but even with our limited resources we managed to pull through. Thank you to everyone who helped us reach out to greater audience.

If there's any barrier, I can assure you it is not a legal one but a political one.
2020 witnessed a plethora of shocking things but our most memorable one is getting #ParlimenDigital on the radar & witnessing youth of Malaysia responding to the call for change.
And then... 1 by 1, we see them soar.

The Malaysian Parliament would be bloody lucky to have @EshaanMenon help them out, because in all honesty, he was the "Digital" behind #ParlimenDigital and it literally wouldn't have been possible without him.

Terdapat berita bhw adanya kes+ di kalangan warga Parlimen. Perkara ini mungkin boleh dielakkan jika persidangan diadakan secara atas talian. Pihak Sekretariat ingin mengeluarkan secara terbuka Dokumen Proses yang menunjukkan cara persidangan #ParlimenDigital berjaya diuruskan.

We pulled off #ParlimenDigital in less than two months and on less than
1 Member of Parliament's 1 month salary.
Can you imagine the amount of resources the government, Parliament and YDP Dewan Rakyat have?
#ParlimenDigital 2.0 is coming I guess.
Dewan Rakyat Speaker Datuk Azhar Harun insists Parliament proceedings cannot be conducted virtually.
He says the proceedings should be held in the Parliament building physically as proclaimed by the YDPA, adding it's difficult to emulate Australia's virtual parliament sitting.
And even if he pushes through for one, I really hope DAP, PAN and MPโs with a conscious in PKR refrain from working with him, cause yโall talked a big game of having principles and values with the #ParlimenDigital reps.
Why is it that people think they deserve respect just because they're older?
Going by how you baboons go about in Parliament, and comparing you guys to the recent youth participants of #ParlimenDigital, I'd say the latter are more deserving of my respect.
